    • Do you have recurrent flashbacks, daydreams, or nightmares of the event?
    • Do you have unexplained headaches, muscle tensions and difficulty breathing at times?
    • Do you avoid activities, places, or people so that you would not be reminded of your
         unpleasant memories of the event?
    • Are you always alert and find it difficult to relax?
    • Do you feel unsafe and are fearful of your and your loved ones’ safety?
    • Do you find it difficult to remember or hard to focus on a particular task for a period of time?
    • Have you lost interest in activities that you previously enjoyed?
    • Do you feel helpless, despair and hopeless about your life?
    • Is your condition a result of an automobile accident or a crime?

If so, you may be suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Not everyone who has encountered a distressful event will have the above symptoms. However, individuals who have experienced one or more distressful event(s) may be more prone to having this condition. If left untreated, the consequences can be devastating and long lasting. It can impair your health, job/school performance, relationships and everyday life.

Clinical research indicates that certain types of trauma therapy are more effective than others. I use a therapy technique that has demonstrated its effectiveness for relief of PTSD symptoms in both research and clinical settings. It has proven to provide significant and rapid relief from major symptoms of PTSD.
